Ian Hansen is an Australian based rotational moulding industry consultant, who has over 35 years experience in the plastics industry. 15 years in colour compounding and grinding of powders and over 20 years as a rotational moulder.
Ian has previously served as President of ARMA (Association of Rotational Moulders Australasia), and also served on the board of ARMO (Affiliation of Rotational Moulding Organisations).
He currently helps rotomoulding businesses quickly solve their problems & achieve their quality, productivity & efficiency goals. The majority of his rotational moulding experience has been in the manufacture of water and chemical storage tanks, using a variety of equipment; from rock & roll open flame machines to biaxial hot air ovens.
Ian has given lectures or seminars to rotomoulding audiences in Europe, South Africa, Australasia, Asia, India, South America and the United States on the process, materials, safety, as well as tank design and tank standards .
He has also written technical articles for Rotoworld Magazine & ARMO Rotomoulder Magazine. Ian is also an ARMA Industry Icon, which is special recognition of the consistent dedication and extraordinary accomplishments of individuals, who have contributed to the growth of the rotational moulding industry.
